World Pyro Olympics 2008

I was one of the thousands in attendance last saturday night at San Miguel by the Bay at the back of Mall of Asia witnessing the night as it is filled with the colors of fireworks for the last night of World Pyro Olympics 2008.

Me and my wife came to the area around 7pm, started walking from Macapagal Boulevard up to San Miguel By the Bay as cars can’t get in anymore due to heavy crowd. I see lots of people along the street, waiting for the competition. Several thousands were behind the barriers as they didn’t pay a ticket which cost Php150 per head.

We were a bit lucky to have a table at the Harbor restobar where we ate dinner. Food was great, specially the Canadian fish fillet though it took almost an hour to be served due to tons of customers that night, but worth waiting.
