WordCamp Philippines 2008 Report

I am very glad to be present at the WordCamp Philippines 2008 held last Saturday at the College of St. Benilde.

I came early, around 7am at the agreed meeting place of the seophilippine members - McDonalds beside La Salle University. Kiddie30 the first one to arrive, then Mito, kapengbarako, spyrochan, and Ghostnote. After taking breakfast, we proceed to the venue. Security was great, we have to log our laptops in and out.

The event started around 9am at the Hall wherein I saw an old friend Ricky Refuerzo. Me and the guys picked the following topics to attend and saw jayl (another seoph member) as we go to the room:

I have just finished registering myself for the coming WordCamp Philippines 2008 this September 6 at the college of St. Benilde in Taft Avenue, Manila.

This will be the first ever wordcamp in the country so I won’t let the experience go away by not coming.
