  5. Angelo from airline miles credit card says:

Usually the reasons why there are poor passing rates on the Bar Examinations is usually

1.Nervousness – thinking of the outcome or having the instinct of he/she might fail

2.Lack of knowledge – usually because what you have learned is not enough to answer all the questions

3.Poor study habits – well the examination requires a lot of studying and a lot of focus

4.Pressures – it may come as peer, family and even self pressure. Thinking of that no matter what happen. You must pass

5.Lack of confidence – usually think of come what may, take the exam from all of what you have studied.

These are only the one that I know, maybe there are more but usually these are the common

  6. Nemesis says:

The rule is an examinee must get an average of 75% for all bar subjects. Each bar subject has an apportioned rate to comprise the bar committee’s approved passing rate. There must be no grade below 50% for any subject, unless the disqualifying % is lowered, like in Taxation for 2009. It really depends on each examiner’s manner of giving points and the committee’s recommendations and the chairman’s decision.
