Red Mobile And A Quick Round Up

28 November 2008

It’s been a while since my last post as I was too busy with few things plus the fact that my 2 little boys got sick wherein the youngest was even hospitalized for several days. Now I am trying to get things back to normal and to start my postings again, here’s a round up of what happened and where I have been the past few days.

RED MOBILE

A new sim card was sent to me for free earlier by Red Mobile, the Philippines newest prepaid network powered by the nation-widest 3G network which is Smart Communications. Red Mobile was used to be uMobile which was canceled a week ago.

You can buy the red mobile sim for only Php39.00 and it offers a cheap rate of Php0.50 per minute of call, one of the cheapest in the country, challenging Sun Cellulars current rates.

Red mobile is offered by Connectivity Unlimited Resource Enterprise, Inc (CURE).

CLEAR BLACK NIGHT EXPERIENCE

Last October 29, Clear held a party at the Taste Asia. It was a hell of a party, everyone’s wearing black and too many attendees. Food was really great (it’s Taste Asia of course), and drinks were overflowing, from sodas to beer. Thanks to Aileen for organizing such an event, I really had a great time. The SM Hypermarket in cooperation with Clear held a blog writing contest which ended last November 14. My sister, Jill Dalisay won the Best Photo Blog and got herself a new 16gb iTouch. Congrats to my beloved sis, I’ve bought jilldalisay.com last night, I’ll trade it with your iTouch…lol

SEOktoberfest

After the Clear party, me and my link building team, which includes my wife went to the seoktoberfest held at the Dolce bar in Timog Avenue. We had a great night with some of the seo.ph members, exchanging ideas while having tons of food and drinks, thanks to netPh, the Philippine’s top domainer for the VIP treatment.

interesting. i’ve been curious about the red mobile service, wondering what it will do to set itself apart from its competitors. i think it’s cool also that there are all these events being set up for local bloggers. :)
