Napolcom, headed by Interior Secretary Ronnie Puno announce that the first phase of the eligibility examinations for police officer will be held on August 30.
Police Executive Service Eligibility (PESE) exams is made to determine if a police officer is qualified to move up to the higher ranks. PESE is a requirement for uniformed personnel eyeing the rank of police senior superintendent (equivalent to colonel in the military) up to director general (equivalent to four-star general).
There will be two phase, first is a written examination to be conducted at testing centers in the National Capital Region, Cebu City and Davao City while the seoncd phase is a panel interview for those who passed Phase I.
Napolcom closed the applications for PESE last Friday.
