LET Registration And Exam 2009

Schedule of Registration for LET 2009

The registration for the LET (Licensure Examination for Teachers) 2009 which will be held this April 5, 2009 started already and will close on January 31, 2009 while the next batch scheduled for September 27, 2009 will have a deadline by June 31, 2009.

Requirements for the LET Registration 2009

  1. Original and photo/xerox copies of Transcript of Records with Special Order and Date of Graduation with “Scanned Picture” and “Remarks: for Board Examination Purposes Only“.View Res.2004-200. (Graduates of government schools and institutions/programs accredited by recognized accrediting agencies under the FAAP are exempted from SO [B]) . Graduates of New Schools/Degree/Programs must submit School Recognition and/or Permit to Operate.
  2. Original and photo/xerox copy of NSO-issued Birth Certificate (in NSO security paper. If NSO copy is not clear, bring a copy from local civil registrar
  3. Four (4) passport size colored pictures with complete name tag in white background
  4. Current Community Tax Certificate (Cedula)
  5. For Married Female, Bring original and photo/xerox copies of NSO-issued Marriage Contract in NSO security paper. If NSO copy is not very clear, bring a copy from local civil registrar)
  6. Other specific requirements as required by the Commission and/or the Professional Regulatory Board. You’ll learn about this at the office of PRC.
  7. Amount of PhP900.00 for the Registration fee. Prepare additional money for the metered enveloped and documentary stamp and other things to buy.

Important notice from the PRC:

  1. No application shall be accepted after the deadline.
  2. Payment will be forfeited if you apply even if you know you are not qualified.
  3. Application whose entries with respect to name, date of birth and sex differ from the entries in the birth certificate, transcript of records and other required documents will not be accepted.
  4. Affidavit of discrepancies will not be accepted.

    I was just wondering whether it is true that the educational unit requirements for the September LET will be increased from its current requirement of 18 units?

    I am not an education grad and only have 18 units of education subjects.
    I just filed for the LET exam and they still accept 18units.

    I would like to ask if those who graduated last April 2008 can still take the exam. I heard that before we can take it we should complete the additional 18 units. Is this true?

    i want to claim my board certificate, i passed the exam last 2005, i was late to register in 2007 due to my work abroad. the prc told me that i will get my certification after 6 months but until now….almost 2 years….i never received it. i need my certificate badly coz i will go back to my work abroad and my employer asks me about it. i called the prc manila but they cant give me any information how to claim it coz the prc in my place told me that i can able to claim it in manila. please advise on what to do, just because of the certificate i cant able to go back to my work.

    The only problem that obstructs me to get the LET is my BIRTH CERTIFICATE why? simply because IO have 2 letters error on my surname, Can you advice me what to do so that I can have the exam probably by September?

    i’m having problem also with my birth certificate,dat’s y til now i was not able 2 take my LET examination b’coz of these,in my NSO only Fe del Rosario was put in it instead of Ma.Fe del Rosario, and all my documents was named Ma.Fe del Rosario,pls help me,it will take 3 months 2 correct my name at the civil registrar’s office…tnx

    hello. I just have a very impt. question… I already passed the LET April Exam but I still did not process the Certification of Registration and Professional ID. May I know when is the deadline? I’m so busy kasi with my work . I can only work on it during my days off I just knew it last week in your site but my day off is still on May 28 and 29. Hindi pa ba huli yon? Im from Cebu and I saw in your site na sa June 5 na ang oath taking namin . Ok lang ba na hindi umattend?
