You can’t find a detailed instruction on how to set-up adsense for domains in namecheap when you go into the Domain Set-up Guide in the Adsense Help section so I created this post to provide you one. Here’s how to do it:
This will take you to the page where you need to make the necessary changes. When you first set up your account, namecheap sets up two entries for you. A www CNAME and a redirect for @. @ means no host name (example.com instead of server1.example.com)
The way namecheap is set up, there is no link/button to delete existing records. You can just clear out the data but it’s easy enough to just reuse the existing fields.
For the www record, replace the IP ADDRESS/URL field with pub-xxxxxxxxx.afd.ghs.google.com.and make sure the RECORD TYPE is set to CNAME (Alias)
For the @ record, change the type to A (Address) and paste in the ip address – 216.239.32.21
Further down the page you’ll have a set of blank fields where you enter the other three A records for the other three ip address with the subdomain settings set to @
I hope this quick guide on how to set-up adsense for domains in namecheap will help aspiring people who want to make money thru it.

I’ve tried this and found I only made a few cents a day (if I was lucky). Is that normal? A sign that my domain isn’t that valuable? Or are there marketing things you need to do after you have your adsense all set up.
Thanks.

I’m using Adsense for Content and Adsense for Search, but I don’t know exactly how Adsense for Domains are working. I earn a nice monthly income from Adsense, and I want to increase my revenue using this new feature.

Anyone know why Adsense for domains require this extensive dns editing whereas every other parking company is satisfied with setting NS records or a 301 redirect?

So If we change the DNS settings of our domain to use a third-party name server or our hosting servers, pur host records (including A/CNAME/MX/TXT records) get moved to the third-party name server (or our hosting nameserver accordingly). Is it so?soom
