How To Promote Your Blog Series

I’ve been asked several times with this question: “How can I promote my blog?”

And I always answer: “There’s a lot of ways to do it….will take a lot of time if I’ll teach you everything”

Making a blog is really easy while promoting it is not. If you can’t build a community of readers, I can say that your blog is nowhere in the internet.

I’ll be making a series of posts which could help you turn your blog from NOWHERE to NOW HERE in the world wide web. I’ll try to provide a few articles monthly so better subscribe to my feeds to be updated everytime I publish one.

For the first part, let’s talk about SOCIAL NETWORKING.

Go out. Start visiting other blogs, comment on their articles. I suggest not to do comments such as “Hi, have a nice day!”, post something that will spice up a conversation. That will build relationship between you and the blog owner.

Open doors. Try to reply on every comments made on your own blog. Answering comments left on your blog is a good way of creating a trust in what you write that will keep readers coming back.

Connect. Gain friends by using social networking sites such as Myspace, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. You can get readers from these sites. Find people that is interested on things that you write, add them as your friend then let them know about your blog.
