If you’re a paypal user, you know that there are 3 types of accounts that you can choose from, personal, premier and business. With personal accounts, you can accept payments from other paypal users using their paypal funds without fees but cannot receive payments funded by credit or debit cards as well Buyer Credit for eBay or eBay Express transactions without upgrading to Premier or Business accounts while both Premier and Business accounts have the luxury to do all of it but with fees. Every paypal user is allowed to have two paypal accounts, one personal and one premier or business.
I have two accounts in paypal, one personal and one premier. Yesterday, I was forced to upgrade my personal paypal account after someone paid me with a credit card funded paypal. I had a mistake adding my personal paypal account as the receiver for payments coming from my health directory instead of my premier account.
To avoid the problem of being penalized for having two premier paypal accounts, I immediately find my way to downgrade back to personal paypal account. Here’s what I did:

Oh, I didn’t know this one. Just recently, a direct advertiser paid me thru paypal and paypal asked me to upgrade personal account to premier account. I didn’t know the fees associated with it. Anyway, thanks for this info – the pros and cons of a premier paypal account.

Good to know. I have just one premiere paypal account because i sell stuff on Ebay. Did not know that there was the possibility to have two accounts and that they were downgradable. Gotta have another one soon!
