Get Your Paypal Verified Using A Payoneer Debit Card
It really sucks when you don’t have a verified paypal yet and you’re trying to make money online as it is considered as the top online payment processor. For those who don’t have credit cards, it is really hard, you have to get a debit card first or a virtual credit card, which is hard to find nowadays. In the Philippines, the UnionBank EON visa card was the primary card used before for verifying paypal, but later, they have closed its online registration of eon accounts.
Few weeks back, I tried creating a new paypal account. Though I already have a premier paypal account, I decided to create a personal account, for lesser fees. It’s not illegal, every paypal user is entitled to create 2 accounts, but required to submit different financial information for each.
I had problems verifying that paypal account, as it was really hard for someone in the Philippines to find a debit card with a visa or mastercard logo in it. So to fix things, I changed my payment option in Text Link Ads from my premier paypal account to Payoneer. I signed up for a new card, and waited 25 days.
Earlier this day, my payoneer card came. I activated it, entered a 4-digit pin. Then I tried using it to pay for a domain just to test if it’s working. Then here’s the steps I took to get my paypal verified thru my payoneer debit card:
- Login to paypal
- Click Unverified link beside Status.
- Enter card number. 3-digit card code. Billing address.
- Confirm.
Tip: Make sure that your payoneer card has funds in it as paypal will deduct a certain amount for verification which will reflect to your paypal account later.
After entering card details, login to your payoneer account. Go to transaction history and look for the paypal transaction that contains the EXPUSE (expanded use) number that paypal sent.
Enter that 4-digit paypal expuse code to your paypal account. Then you’re done. Paypal is now verified thru payoneer card.
What is Payoneer? Payoneer allows organizations to pay large numbers of people around the world, efficiently and securely directly to their Prepaid MasterCard® cards, avoiding the delays and heavy surcharges of more traditional methods such as bank transfers and international checks. Payoneer is a privately-held company and a registered MSP with MasterCard.
How to get a payoneer card? If you’re an affiliate of Text Link Ads, ReviewMe, GetAfreeLancer, Elance, iStockPhoto, Metacafe, and more..they offer payoneer as payment option. Check out their site for a more complete list or ask your affiliate manager if they offer payoneer as an alternative payment solution.

Question: I also use Payoneer with oDesk
How much total transaction, won’t it be big ksi you keep passing?
oDesk to payoneer = 2usd, payoneer to paypal = ? paypal to bank = anothe one….in the end, unless you really need paypal, isnt going thru payoneer a bit expensive? thx

Ahhh, not that getting payoneer is hard enough, getting funds in it is even harder as you need to find a job first. Is there any other, other, other way to get paypal verified other than EON and Payoneer? There has to be another bank out there.
By the way, Unionbank now is not like the Unionbank last year, you’ll be surprised how one big company as they are can deteriorate in just a few months. Last March I got an Eon card in just a month thru online application, Then by September, I had my sister to get one in their branch, and for 3 months and counting the card isn’t there yet.

I did not know they let you use debit card to verify paypal account. I know they allow 2 accounts one premier one personal but make sure to use different email to keep the 2 accounts seperate.

I am a verified paypal account holder and I am happy to say that. It is really a good and best payment processor out of all. I have tried a couple but none of them are as good as paypal.
