China Plans To Clean Internet

The Chinese government recently announced their latest campaign which targets websites that contains or being used to access vulgar pornographic content.
The authorities named 19 websites which includes Google and the China’s top used search engine Baidu. They have warned these sites to clean up their content or else their websites will be closed down.
“We will continue to expose, punish or close down websites that have a lot of vulgar content,” said one official, Cai Mingzhao, speaking on Chinese Central Television.
The new campaign is being co-ordinated by a total of seven government ministries.
