First thing I’ve noticed after installation is the new default theme – TwentyTen, a much better looking theme than the Kubrick inspired former default theme.

WordPress 3.0 also features a lighter interface with help options on all screens within the admin dashboard and the bulk upgrade of plugins within a click.

The new theme system will require wordpress theme developers to acquire APIs that will let them easily implement custom backgrounds, headers, shortlinks, menus (no more file editing), post types, and taxonomies.

2.Changing The Background Color:

If you want to change the background color of the form, find this line:

text-align:center;

After it, add this:

background: #00BB11

Just change the color codes with anything that you like. You can use this color chart as a reference.

3. Adding Background Image

To make the form more unique, others add a background image in their feedburner subscription form. To do it, find this line:

text-align:center;

After it, add this code:

background: url(url of your image here);

The code should look something like this:

3. Changing The Width Of The Textbox

If you’re looking to place that form in your sidebar, you’d probably want to change the width of the textbox so it won’t break any formatting you have there, here’s the solution on how to do it. Find this code:

change the numbers with whatever size you’d like.

Now, you’ll surely have a much attractive feedburner subscription form if you have followed the tutorials above.

NoFollow Free – This will strip the “no follow” attribute in the authors link within the comments in this blog, but it will only happen when the comment author reaches a minimum of 2 comments.

KeywordLuv – The best thing for a do follow author link will be an anchor text for the keyword he wants to dominate so with this keyword, you can use your keywords in your author name without being flagged as a spammer. You just have to type YourName@YourKeywords in the comment name field to use it.

If you’ll check the facebook statistics, you will see that it has more than 100 million active users, which makes them the most-trafficked social media site in the web and the 5th most trafficked website (Alexa). Can you imagine how much traffic you can get for your website thru it? I’ll share you what I’ve been doing earlier with my facebook account.

First of all, I went to my privacy settings. In here, you can control how you will display details about you, either to your friends alone or to the entire world. I have exposed most of my infos to my whole network, except my phone number, IM info and email address as I still want to leave some privacy in my life.

Then, I started making connections. I searched for persons I know personally then added them as my friend, search their friends, then added them too and so on and so fort. I searched for groups where my interest belongs then joined them. I preferred joining groups with more number of members.

Facebook applications are cool so I went on adding them to my account. Here’s a list of what I suggest:

• Twitter App – it will auto-syndicate any post you make on twitter to your facebook profile page.
• Simply RSS App – provides an easy way to add feeds to your profile so you can easily share your blog or favorite feeds to your friends.
• Stumbleupon App – this will show sites you have marked as favorites in your stumbleupon profile, which will also be visible in your profile page.
• Friendfeed App – this will connect all your activity from facebook, twitter, flickr, linkedin and more.

If you’ll notice, all the applications I have installed is a great way to automatically syndicate all my activity from various social media sites that will help me reach more people for my site or products.

Oh, I’ve also added some just for fun apps, it’s a good way to interact with your friends. Sending them something like a poke or a hug lets them feel that you’re there to socialize and not just to syndicate your things into facebook!
